Can We Achieve Greater Wellness Through Understanding Our Ancient Past?
As the focus of my life is greater wellness, I am seeing the world going through a metamorphosis. There are growing numbers of people getting more active, trying yoga, doing mindful meditation techniques, tai chi and many other modalities of movement and mindfulness. This is definitely a big step in the direction of self love and the connection of mind body and spirit.
On the whole, humans are improving their vibe and getting better. 20 years ago, most people would not have predicted the surge of yoga and meditation we see during this time.
A Shift of Consciousness
To me, this is a distinct shift in our ongoing path to improved wellness, health and wellbeing. I also believe that wellness is defined as more than just foods we eat or the physical activity we do. Greater wellness comes from the spiritual understanding that we are much more than our physical bodies.
In the process of developing my inner self, I stay true to my mystic side. I continuously probe old books and the internet with questions about our human origins. I have been accused more than once as seeing the world through “esoteric” eyes. Indeed, I confess … esoteric knowledge is the foundation of what draws me into our ancient origins.
In April of 2019, I was delighted to meet Graham Hancock, an inspiring author and speaker on the missing pieces of the human story.
In 2007, I was lucky enough to travel to Giza and see the precision and passion put into this massive structure. I remember reading an old National Geographic of how they thought the pyramids were constructed. I was only a teenager at the time, but I felt it was so wrong. It was trying to tell me that sticks, rocks, ropes and slaves built the Great pyramid. Not then and not today, do I see or “feel” any truth to the old story being suggested.
Ancient Memories Felt
When I touched Giza for the first time , I immediately felt tears run down my cheek. It was as though I was flooded by an ancient memory. I knew only that Giza, at that moment in time, was not how it once was. In other words, I was transported back in time to the original Giza, when it was lush and founded on the principle of love and devotion for the earth mother. It’s as though I got a download in me for the 30 seconds that I held onto that rock. I will always remember that awesome and sad feeling. (Awesome because it was such an amazing feeling – sad because it was not as it once was.)
Having visited this structure and felt the awesome power of its imprint on man, I truly know that there are deeper mysteries within. The precision of this place is well beyond one person’s imagination. I was staggered by the sheer size, magnitude and utter audacity of this place!
It was only a couple of years ago that I saw the following video.
After watching the above video, I knew I wanted to know more! It is this line below that perked my attention.
“The great pyramid, I’ve climbed it 5 times. I’ve been in every known chamber in the Great Pyramid. It is a work of stunning artistic achievement. You are looking at the work of masters of architecture at the peak of their skill. Not an unwilling labor force. But people who gave their labor to that work with love, with care and with attention.” – Graham Hancock
I know in every fiber of my being that he is speaking the truth. Having been to Giza myself and witnessed the precision, the great pyramid is a masterpiece and is so much more than what we have been told.
The moment I heard him say that, I felt my heart rise with a resounding YES! Finally, someone was telling the truth about Giza. Truth always resonates.
What if we understood the meanings of this incredible place and other great wonders? Would we live better lives?
A New Paradigm Greater wellness
I love that there are brave scientists and explorers, like Graham Hancock, Bruce Lipton and Gregg Braden who challenge the current “paradigm” with very important questions!
“All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.” — Arthur Schopenhauer, German philosopher (1788 – 1860)
Although more and more people are waking up, it is men like him who have had to endure a lot of hostility from “conventional thought”. There are so many others who also challenge convention, which is why Mr. Hancock is quite busy doing lectures around the world. Yes, we live in a time where people want to know and share ideas, especially when it involves how we live on the planet.
More recently, I found this most intriguing video about the story of Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man and it’s correlation to the Great Pyramid.
Someone who loves Graham Hancock as I do, created this amazing video telling the truth about our “situation”. Ultimately, it relates to us and how we have been taking care of nature and the environment.
Perhaps I am an optimist. However, I believe that our understanding of the Greater wellness mysteries of the planet has a lot to do with greater wellness. The ancients had knowledge of things that we are still uncovering. I feel that the more we learn about our early beginnings, the better we can make our NOW.
It’s a subject of deep fascination and love and I plan on gaining greater wellness through greater understanding of these mysteries by sharing what I know and also re-visiting these immense and sacred sites in the world.
If the missing pieces of human past interests you, you will enjoy following Graham Hancock. He speaks with eloquence and gives us a broader perspective of the consciousness we are experiencing at this time.
As our human story unfolds and through my own travels and research, I plan on writing more on this most fascinating subject.
